• WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a recall of Influend-brand cough and cold products sold in Alabama on or after May 30 due to a health risk. The FDA said ION Labs Inc. of Clearwater, Fla., initiated the voluntary recall because the products weren't tested in conformance with company specifications and, therefore, might be super potent.

• Possible complications can include Tachycardia, palpitations, arrhythmias, cardiovascular collapse with hypotension, headaches, dizziness, anxiety, restlessness and nervousness.
